Stand in Solidarity against hate and discrimination

31 January 2017
In the wake of the tragedy at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec in Quebec City, where 6 men lost their lives and others continue to fight for their lives, the SAH Council wishes to express our deep sorrow to you, our brothers and sisters of the Muslim faith, to assure you of our steadfast support, to stand with you in solidarity against hatred and discrimination, and to work alongside you to build a world based on freedom, justice and peace.
For all SAH Association members, if you have Constituent Groups that have sponsored Muslim refugees to Canada, we encourage you to suggest that they reach out to those they have sponsored, to find out how they are reacting to the events in Quebec City and to assure them that they can turn to their sponsors for understanding and support.
